Wondering what to get your child’s teacher?  Short on cash but still want to honor them?  Teacher appreciation week is the perfect opportunity to bless those that work tirelessly to grow your child.

A Handwritten Note:

Writing a thank you note is a great way to show your appreciation. Adding specific details about how your teacher has made a positive difference in your life or the life of your child is priceless.

An Email to the Boss:

Highlighting your teacher’s strengths and meaningful interactions to their boss is such a great way to show appreciation.  Make sure you CC them on the email so they can feel the love.  

Pick some Flowers:

In the South, Teacher Appreciation Week is timed perfectly with spring flowers.  If you garden, pick a bloom to take to your teacher.  Use a bottle from your recycling bin and add a cute ribbon to top it off.

Make a Compilation Video:

Make a video using all the photos taken during the year.  Those field trips, musicals, and other extracurriculars provide ample photos of the class.   Who knows, they may even play it during the end of the year celebration.  

Volunteer:

 Helping your child’s teacher is a great way to show appreciation.  Ask them to send home items for you to cut out, decorate a bulletin board, or help supervise children (if you are back-ground checked of course).
